On 23 June, 2022, ZAFFICO announced changes to The Board through a statement published by the company secretary.
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Lusaka Securities Exchange Listing Rules, ZAFFICO PLC wishes to inform its shareholders and other stake holders of the resignation of Agnes Chakonta from the Board of the ZAFFICO PLC Board with effect from 27th May,2022.
The ZAFFICO PLC Board of Directors wish to thank Director Chakonta for her valuable contribution to the company and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
The Board further wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. Mason Mwiinga as new board member effective 28th May, 2022. Mr. Mwiinga has over 28 years of experience. Mr. Mwiinga has served in the social security industry, tax inspection and accountancy services. He currently serves as director, contributions and benefits for the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA). Mr. Mwiinga is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ (CIMA) Technician, who holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree and a Master of Business Administration. He is also an associate member of the Zambia Institute of Directors and the Zambia Association of Arbitrators.
