In comparison to the second week of February 2022, it was the equities market that completely dominated the capital market recording a 100% score.

In the week ended 10th February 2023, a total of 3,547,967 shares were transacted in 487 trades, yielding a market turnover of K15,542,918. Trading activity was recorded in AECI MINING EXPLOSIVES, AIRTEL NETWORKS, BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO ZAMBIA, COPPERBELT ENERGY CORPORATION ZAMBIA, CHILANGA CEMENT, PUMA ENERGY, SHOPRITE HOLDINGS, ZAMBIAN BREWERIES, ZAMBIA FORESTRY and FOREST CORPORATION, ZAMBEEF, ZAMBIA METAL FABRICATORS, ZANACO and ZAMBIA SUGAR as well as CCAF on the quoted tier. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 7,200.43 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K72,273,845,689.76 including Shoprite Holdings and K37,491,160,249.76 excluding Shoprite Holdings.
Bond Market
Bonds of total face value of K227,629,000 were transacted in 34 trades, resulting in a market value sales of K156,330,340.
