In accordance with Section 3.4(b) of the Lusaka Securities Exchange (“LuSE”) Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors of Pamodzi Hotels PLC (the “Company” or “Pamodzi”) hereby advises the shareholders of the Company that the Earnings Per Share (“EPS”) for the audited financials for the year ending 31st March, 2023 is expected to be approximately 111% higher than that of the corresponding period last year.
The movement in EPS for the Company is primarily attributed to an increase of around 109% in revenue and an increase of around 112% in Profit After Tax which were due to an increase in room segment, banquet and restaurant incomes.
The Company expects the audited financials for the year ending 31st March 2023 to be released on Securities Exchange News Services (“SENS”) and published in the local press on or around 6th June 2023.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until publication of the results.
