Liquid Intelligent Technology today held an event at Sarovar Premiere Hotel, where they had a Complex Solutions Unit media launch. Liquid Intelligent Technologies is a business of Cassava Technologies, a Pan-African technology group with operations in over 25 African countries. Liquid has firmly established itself as the leading provider of Pan-African digital infrastructure with a 100,000 km-long fiber broadband network and satellite connectivity that provides high-speed access to the internet anywhere in Africa. Liquid, as a Pan-African technology group, is proud to announce the launch of its Complex Solutions Unit in Zambia. With this offering, Liquid is adding an innovative expansion to its tailor-made solutions and services to meet local businesses’ unique needs.
During the launch, CEO Mark Townsend said that with the rebranding of Liquid Intelligent Technologies two years ago came the promise that they were more than just a telecoms provider. They are an intelligent technology solutions company in Africa working towards an increased focus on the digital needs of businesses and enterprises in Zambia. This is as they continue to address the digital needs of companies and enterprises in Zambia as they continue their technology transformation journey. With the country’s internet penetration increasing from 6.5% in 2010 to 21.2% at the beginning of this year and over 4 million online Zambians, Zambia has a mounting demand for internet services and solutions. The Complex Solutions Unit will offer world-class, tailor-made ICT solutions made possible through Liquid’s partnership with global suppliers and vendors.
The Complex Solutions Unit integrates intuitively with many of Liquid’s offerings. With Azure Stack available in Zambia, Liquid has helped businesses with compliance and regulatory issues. This has allowed them to store data within the country. Additionally, the Cyber Security Fusion Centre launched in March this year has brought businesses peace of mind with end-to-end 24/7 managed cyber security solutions. This upcoming business offering is a managed service for clients, customized for every customer. It will streamline processes and allow them to maximize profits.
With this investment, Liquid again affirms that it is the digital service provider of choice for organizations of all sizes in Zambia. The ability to offer businesses custom-built solutions catering to their specific needs is the catalyst to help Zambian businesses level the playing field with their international counterparts on the continent and beyond.
During the Q&A session, Mr. Mike Siachitema said Complex Solutions would offer affordable connectivity for customers. It shall provide intelligent surveillance, smart access control, and a learning management system. In addition, CEO Mark Townsend said there are remote sites where they can offer connectivity solutions, such as mines. They will also talk to customers, understand their needs, and provide customized connectivity solutions. Liquid’s solutions are based on its network. Currently, Liquid is sitting on 8,000 fibers, and they have an MOU signed with the government, explained the CEO. They are very invested as Liquid and will continue to grow the network. The CEO also said the starting point is to engage with customers, as every company needs to solve a problem with technology. They tailor-make solutions specific to business needs. The Complex Solutions Unit strives to create lasting relationships with its customers. It aims to be there for them during their journey and ensure that each solution deployed is legal. Lastly, Complex Solutions is here to escalate business, catering to large and small enterprises.
It was also noted that Complex Solutions is a game changer post-COVID; digital transformation is more than just a strategy on paper, but a reality for most businesses. They’re now the partner available to aid customers on their digital transformation journey by providing customized ICT solutions in a consultative way. They want to let customers concentrate on their core business while taking care of their ICT requirements.
