On 16 August 2022, Airtel announced the appointment of Monicah Samba as Director of the Board following the departure of Rogany Ramiah.
Pursuant to section 3.59 of the LuSE Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of Airtel Networks Zambia Plc (“Airtel” or the “Company”) wishes to announce the resignation of Rogany Ramiah as a Director of the Board effective 18 July 2022. Furthermore, the Board would like to announce the appointment of Monicah Sambo as director of the board effective 18 July 2022.
Monicah is a seasoned professional with over 18 years’ experience, working and living across Africa. Her top skills include Talent Management and formulating Human Resource Policies. She was awarded the Business Daily Top 40 under 40 women in Kenya.
The Board would like to express appreciation to Rogany Ramiah for their valued contribution to the Company during their tenure as a director and wishes them well in their future endeavours. Furthermore, the Board would like to congratulate Monicah Sambo on her appointment and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
