In the week ended 25th August 2023, a total of 118,805 shares were transacted in 417 trades, yielding a market turnover of K803,048.30. Trading activity was recorded AECI MINING EXPLOSIVES, AIRTEL NETWORKS, COPPERBELT ENERGY CORPORATION ZAMBIA, CHILANGA CEMENT, NATIONAL BREWERIES, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK LIMITED, ZAMBIAN BREWERIES, ZCCM INVESTMENT HOLDINGS, ZAMBIA FORESTRY and FOREST CORPORATION, ZAMBEEF, ZANACO, ZAMBIA SUGAR and CEC AFRICA on the quoted tier. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 8,691.95 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K78,766,161,556.22 including Shoprite Holdings and K43,983,476,116.22 excluding Shoprite Holdings.
