In the week ended 23rd September 2022, a total of 6,891,585 shares were transacted in 596 trades, yielding a market turnover of K29,044,680. Trading activity was recorded in AECI MINING EXPLOSIVES, BATA, COPPERBELT ENERGY CORPORATION, CHILANGA CEMENT, INVESTRUST BANK, TAJ PAMDOZI HOTELS, PUMA, REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT ZAMBIA, STANDARD CHARTERED ZAMBIA, ZCCM INVESTMENT HOLDINGS, ZAMBEEF, ZANACO, ZAMBIA SUGAR and CEC AFRICA INVESTMENT on the quoted tier. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 7,258.50 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K72,526,631,336 including Shoprite Holdings and K37,743,945,896 excluding Shoprite Holdings.
