ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and ACCA Zambia is the global body for professional accountants. Offering business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of
application, ability, and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance, and management.
ACCA Zambia awarded the 2019 ACCA Top Achievers with Top Prizes for their national and global achievements in various papers written in 2018 and 2019. Over 60 students achieved top marks globally and locally. These awards saw one student, Richard Tembo, winner of three top national and global awards, receiving a job offer from Deloitte as he begins his accountancy career.
ACCA Zambia is offering two mock days to all students that have registered for the December 2019 ACCA examinations. These are FREE mock days and will also include FREE examination
debriefs with expert ACCA Platinum accredited tutors from ZCAS (Zambia Centre for Accounting Studies). ACCA Zambia is offering the mock days on Saturday 12th October 2019 and Friday 18th October 2019, in Lusaka at ZCAS and Ndola at Zambia ICT College, respectively.
“We have decided to offer these mock days free of cost to our students because research shows that supported students are more likely to pass their exams first time when properly supported.
I am appealing to our ACCA students to reach out to the local office to get more information on how to access approved and accredited tuition support. We are here to support them to
success. ”said Mrs. Janice Matwi, ACCA Zambia Country Head.
ACCA Zambia is offering FREE attendance to the two mock days to all students that are already registered for the ACCA December 2019 examinations. For students that would like to participate in these two events but have not registered for the ACCA December 2019 examinations, the fee is K150 for participation. “The fee is heavily subsidised to accommodate students that have been studying on their own. We would like for them to gain access to a world-class accredited teaching environment to increase their chances of passing the first time,” added Mrs. Matwi.
This exercise is in line with ACCA Zambia’s introduction of major innovations to its flagship qualification to ensure its members and future members continue to be the most valued, up to date and sought-after accountancy professionals globally.
