In the third week of November 2022, there were eleven company securities that recorded trades of which AECI Mining Explosives was the highest priced. In comparison to the third week of November 2021, we see seventeen companies record trades with Shoprite Holdings as the highest priced. Friday’s equity trading was the best performing day of the week. Trading activity was recorded in AECI MINING EXPLOSIVES, COPPERBELT ENERGY CORPORATION ZAMBIA, CHILANGA CEMENT, MADISON FINANCIAL SERVICES, PUMA ENERGY, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK LIMITED, ZAMBIAN BREWERIES, ZCCM INVESTMENT HOLDINGS, ZAMBIA FORESTRY and FOREST CORPORATION, ZAMBEEF and ZANACO as well as CEC AFRICA INVESTMENTS on the quoted tier. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 7,171.15 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K72,146,399,253.80 including Shoprite Holdings and K37,363,713,813.80 excluding Shoprite Holdings.

In 40 trades recorded today, 19,269 shares were transacted resulting in a turnover of K51,841.77. A share price gain of K0.10 was recorded in ZANACO.
