Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a pan-African technology group, is proud to announce the appointment of Ms Mirriam Ngala as Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia, effective 1st September 2022.
“Mirriam is an experienced, well-respected, and talented senior executive. We look forward to her overseeing Liquid Zambia’s business strategy, helping to strengthen and expand our position as a leading digital services provider in Africa,” says Mark Townsend, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies, Zambia.
“We are confident that she will drive the mission and vision of the business and its commitment to bringing the best to its customers,” continued Townsend.
Mirriam brings over 10 years of experience across multiple business disciplines, including sales and marketing, strategic planning, business development and client relations management in the telecommunication and IT industry. She started her career with Zamnet before joining Liquid Zambia, rising swiftly to the Senior Manager of Enterprise position, where she spearheaded the drive around Managed Services and Strategic Partnerships in the Large Enterprise segment.
Commenting on her appointment as CBO, Mirriam Ngala says: “It is an honour to be a part of Liquid as it continues its journey to digitally connect the country through its world-class infrastructure and digital services. There is a huge opportunity for SMEs in Zambia to accentuate their business by adopting digital technologies and improving customer experience. I want to ensure that Liquid helps them understand the benefits and partner with them to realise their digital transformation journey”.
As a business of Cassava Technologies, Liquid in Zambia is enabling social mobility and the economic prosperity of individuals and businesses in the country through increased access to the internet and technology. An essential action in achieving this is through its public-private partnerships (PPP) with the Zambian government to realise their vision of a Smart Zambia. As part of this continuing mission, Liquid Zambia recently expanded its operations to the country’s central province by launching its first-ever office in Mkushi, bringing its suite of offerings to the largely unserved agriculture block in this region.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Copperbelt University and MBA in Management Strategy from the University of Zambia.
