In the week ended 31st January 2020, a total of 32,794 shares were transacted in 24 trades, yielding a market turnover of K20,130. Trading activity was recorded in AFRICA EXPLOSIVES LIMITED ZAMBIA, COPPERBELT ENERGY CORPORATION, LAFARGE, STADARD CHARTERED BANK LIMITED, ZAMBIA BREWERIES, ZANACO and COCA-COLA AFRICA FOUNDAION on the quoted tier. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 4,251.54 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K56,499,641,913 including Shoprite Holdings and K22,260,435,933 excluding Shoprite Holdings.

During the week, bonds of total face value of K19,682,000 were transacted in 14 trades, yielding a market value sales of K13,164,000. Week three of January corporate bond trading was the best performning for the month of January.
