In accordance with the Lusaka Securities Exchange (“LuSE”) Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors of Puma Energy Zambia Plc (“the Board”) wishes to advise the Shareholders that for the period ending 31 December 2022, the basic earnings per share is expected to be 169 % higher than that of the corresponding period last year for the Company.
This increase is due to improved sales volumes and variable costs optimisation in comparison to the prior year.
The Company expects its results for the year ended 31December 2022 to be released on SENS and published in the local press on or about 10 March 2023. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until publication of the results.
