Weekly Bond Market Diary (16th to 20th November 2020)

In the third week of the month of November 2020 bond trading, bonds of total face value of K182,833,000 were transacted in 43 trades, yielding a market value sales of K111,359,000. Only three days recorded trades of which Thursdays’ bond trading was the best performing for the week. Thus far, week three has outperformed the other weeks, recording higher Face value, Sales as well as Trades.

There were no bonds traded today.

Tuesday 17th

Bonds of total face value of K33,161,000 were transacted in 5 trades, resulting in a market value sales of K21,762,570.

Wednesday 18th  

There were no bonds traded today.

Thursday 19th

Bonds of total face value of K142,438,000 were transacted in 29 trades, resulting in a market value sales of K84,092,100.

 Friday 20th

Bonds of total face value of K7,235,000 were transacted in 9 trades, resulting in a market value sales of K5,504,190.

Once again, the bond market dominates the equities market recording a 97% to 3% on the equities side.
