Equity Market Update
In the week ended 7th February 2020, a total of 51,550,940 shares were transacted in 109 trades, yielding a market turnover of K32,059,252. Trading activity was recorded in AFRICA EXPLOSIVES LIMITED, AIRTEL, CEC ZAMBIA, LAFARGE, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK LIMITED, ZAMBIA BREWIERS, ZANACO and ZAMBIA SUGAR. The LuSE All Share Index (LASI) closed at 4,254.23 points. The market closed on a capitalization of K56,512,852,112 including Shoprite Holdings and K22,273,646,132 excluding Shoprite Holdings.
