- The LuSE ASI closed at 5,103.49 points, down 0.68% from the previous close of 5,138.65 points, .Year-to-date, the LUSE ALSI is down 2.76% in local currency terms, and down 3.00% in USD currency terms
- 49,334 shares traded on the LuSE Main Tier today, of which CEC contributed 85% to the total shares traded, trading 40,782 shares at a share price of at K1.36 per share.
- A total turnover of K85,297 (USD7,067) was generated on the LuSE today, of which CEC contributed 65%.
8 January
- The LuSE ASI maintained the previous close of 5,103.49 points. Year-to-date, the LUSE ALSI is down 2.76% in local currency terms, and down 3.00% in USD currency terms
- 500 shares traded on the LuSE Main Tier today, of which ZAMBREW contributed 100% to the total shares traded, trading at a share price of at K7.51 per share.
- A total turnover of K3,755 (USD311) was generated on the LuSE today, of which ZAMBREW contributed 100%.
9 January

- 20,923 shares traded on the LuSE Main Tier today, of which CEC contributed 99% to the total shares traded, trading 20,883 shares at a share price of at K1.36 per share.
- A total turnover of K28,441 (USD2,368) was generated on the LuSE today, of which CEC contributed 99%.
10 January
- The LuSE ASI closed at 5,099.58 points down 0.08% from the previous close of 5,103.49 points. Year-to-date, the LUSE ALSI is down 2.84% in local currency terms, and down 2.59% in USD currency terms
- 1,085,760 shares traded on the LuSE Main Tier today, of which MADISON contributed 46% to the total shares traded, trading 500,002 shares at a share price of at K3.07 per share.
- A total turnover of K2,944,063 (USD245,134) was generated on the LuSE today, of which MADISON contributed 52%.

11 January
- The LuSE ASI closed at 5,085.69 points down 0.27% from the previous close of 5,099.58 points.Year-to-date, the LUSE ALSI is down 3.10% in local currency terms, & down 2.94% in USD currency terms
- 104,704 shares traded on the LuSE Main Tier today, of which ZANACO contributed 88% to the total shares traded, trading 92,600 shares at a share price of at K0.80 per share.
- A total turnover of K90,420 (USD7,522) was generated on the LuSE today, of which ZANACO contributed 82%.
Special Announcements
During the week under review, two special announcements were reported. The first was a further cautionary note from IZWE. In their announcement, “the Board wishes to inform the holders of the listed notes and the market that the Company is still considering various strategic growth opportunities that may include pursuing a listing on the LuSE“.
The second announcement was on the announcement of the departure of Mr. Cuthbert K. Tembo as Company Secretary with effect from 31st December 2018. The Board is also announced the appointment of Mr. Brian Msidi as Acting Company Secretary with immediate effect. Mr. Msidi is a Legal Practitioner and current Assistant Legal Counsel at Investrust Bank Plc.
